Wednesday: Hiking and Bubba Gump!

Today we woke up a little late, but very excited about what we were going to do: hike Diamond Head, which is an inactive volcano that allows a great view from the top. We headed there by foot, and when we started some of us were so excited so we started running up, trying to break ‘the belo record’…it was impossible in my opinion, the guy who established it must be a deer or something. We got to the top after some minutes, all sweaty but pretty satisfied, and the view from the top was so awesome, that I feel it was totally worth it.
Then we got back, and got some amazing shave ice at the bottom of the hill. We chilled out for about half an hour, and after that we went back to the bus, that took us back to the hotel. It was a pretty tiring morning, but definitely a good experience and everybody took a lot of great pictures!
In the afternoon, we had some free time- most of us spent it on the beach in Waikiki, and it was very relaxing. At a certain point, it started raining, and it was quite surprising, since the sun was shining and we did not expect to see that. We decided to head back to the hotel, and went to the swimming pool. We spent the rest chilling out there or in the hot tub, and then we started getting ready to leave.
After a short ride on the bus, we got to the shopping mall, that was huge and all outdoor, so pretty cool. We went to eat into an amazing place where apparently they loved Forrest Gump, and we all ate some shrimps or pasta or chicken. After the cake, we went shopping, all divided in small groups, and it seems to me the main purpose was to get selfies in any shop we could (Louis Vuitton, Armani, Abercrombie and many more), but we also shopped a little bit, and actually there were many cool shops. We met up again and left to get back to the hotel, where we got some pretty nice t-shirts with all our names written on them. The day was awesome, and we feel so tired we will sleep all night. #lololol #yolo
