Aloha everybody,
Hawaii stole my heart.. again! This wonderful island is way
too beautiful. I absolutely love it!! Today we went to Pearl Harbor! This was
amazing!! It’s very sad when you are there but the meaning is so wonderful. First
we visited the USS Missouri where we did volunteer work. We helped clean the
deck. It was fun, and we had a chance to see the ship! After that we did a tour
of the battleship which was very interesting. The guide was wonderful, he
explained everything with passion making it very interesting. After that we
went to the USS Arizona Memorial. First we watched a movie which was very very
interesting and it kinda touched me. I didn’t know that much abut Pearl Harbor
and in the video they explained it all very clearly. I absolutely loved it. After
that we sat on a ship and went to the actual memorial. That was so impressive. We
saw a big white wall with all the names of those that passed away, we saw the
other boats… it was just amazing! I am so glad we did it! Normally I don’t really
like museums or memorials but this was just amazing. I think it’s because of
the meaning and it touched me! After that we had free time and I had another
chance to discover this wonderful island. I am in love with Hawaii and would
recommend it to everybody!
